Swimming Pool Cinema
There was a strange screening of epic film Titanic shown in London. The movie was shown in a swimming pool in Finsbury, with the audience floating in wooden lifeboats in the swimming pool:


Drowning Kids Installation
A somewhat scary awareness campaign meant to remind parents of keeping an eye on their children having fun in a swimming pool. The author of this post rightfully questions the justifiability of the campaign placing fake children’s drowned bodies among kids swimming in the pool:

People in the Swimming Pool Illusion
Argentine artist Leandro Erlich has created a full-size pool including a deck and a ladder. When approached from the first floor, people, fully clothed, can be seen standing, walking, and breathing beneath the surface of the water. The people underneath the swimming pool can actually look above with realistic water effect on top of it:





Global Warming Installation
Imagine that one day Global warning results in the huge Sea level rise. Then maybe people will be swimming a thousand feet above the NY skyline. The water won’t probably be so crystal clear and transparent but the swimming pool still looks realistic:
