Thus, we already know how the vehicles from the future are going to work, sound and look like: they will be called “landspeeders” and look something like this:

“Landspeeder” was the name of a craft Star Wars Luke Skywalker was using to travel above a world’s surface.
And the future is actually starting now! The Landspeeder appealed to the public so much, that there appeared several full-scale running replicas in real life, and here are a few of them (none of them is yet able to hover aloft on a cushion of antigravity but they do look cool!):

According to the description, this Landspeeder created by Daniel Deutsch is powered by an electric motor that is able to take the vehicle to a top speed of 25 mph and that can travel for several miles on a single battery change.
