ok.. i’m going to nitpick, but only because it’s an Apple product and it’s going to happen anyways:
That isn’t a G5 monitor.
Apple no longer sold CRT monitors by the time G5-powered Macs were introduced; plus, the only G5-powered all-in-one system Apple sold was the iMac G5; the iMac G5 looks like the current iteration, except with a shiny white appearance instead of the present anodized aluminum.
With that out of the way, I want to let you know that this was an awesome post and unexpectedly inspired a personal project or two; I was particularly intrigued by the knife sharpener.
Thanks for sharing!

The Knife Sharpener looks like a Hard Drive rather than a CD-Rom Drive. Get a 10,000 RPM Western Digital Raptor drive and you could make quite the sharpener. Just make sure you secure the sandpaper..!

Till now, I always though of using the computer the traditional way i.e, playing games, movies, music, some work rarely.
Your idea is unique one and could be followed as I have two broken mouse, now they ready to be used as tooth paste holder.

Readers on our homesteading blog are always looking for ways to make a little cash from trash. There are actually some pretty interesting ideas here. That PC case birdhouse is going up in my backyard this winter!

I’d love to punch you – hard. Nitpicky little fuck. Hate you, and everyone like you. Next time say “nice post” and shaddup, keep the passive aggressive FUD to yourself.

Great reuse of these computers. I wouldn’t mind getting a couple of hamsters, just so I could give them a cool house like the one shown.

That coffee machine is actually a mod, with a fully functional (and fast) pc inside.

The sausage cutter is hilarious! That can’t be sanitary…
I would have never thought to use a computer monitor as a pet-cage. I guess with all the flat screens people have now, recycling those old CRT behemoths is the norm.
