Would you like unusual water sports and entertainment for the weekend adrenaline rush? Here are a few cool funky options for you to consider: human powered hydrofoils.
A hydrofoil is a boat with wing-like foils mounted on struts below the hull. Its most remarkable feature is that while moving it raises the hull up and out of the water – and it looks like it is gliding above the water.
Water Runner
The first human powered hydrofoil ever, water runner was invented back in 1950s.


Pumpabike
Pumpabike is “a self propelled hydrofoil that glides along the top of the water”. It is capable of speeds of up to 30km per hour!


Aquaskipper
For about $500 you wll be able to have this funky craft at home to enjoy it every weekend. It uses the force of your weight to compress the fiberglass spring and cause the back foil to change its angle and generate the propulsion every time you jump.
