Really Ridiculous Real Weddings

With Halloween being just around the corner, I began thinking about Gothic themed outfits for couples. When searching , I came across a Gothic wedding photo which to me resembles nothing more than two whack jobs imitating a beetle juice nightmare. The scorpions draped across the body and wedding gown take accessorizing to a new level.

After stumbling across the disgusting Gothic wedding, like any other normal person who just couldn’t get enough, I decided to keep browsing. I wanted to see what other ways people have come up with for straying away from traditional weddings. I noticed CMT airs a show called My Big Redneck Wedding. I saw photos of the bridal parties on monster trucks and dead animals at receptions. I especially loved the picture of a little girl dressed in camo as the lovely couple walk the child down the aisle which was without a doubt covered in hay. I do believe the bride is also wearing some sort of camo flip flops.

In continuation of the very classy weddings as seen in the porter potty picture above, I figure it is only appropriate to mention the motor cycle enthusiasts who choose to incorporate their obsession in their wedding. In fact, there were not only a ton of weddings with the bride and groom either taking photos on a Harley or riding away into the sunset on the vehicle but there was even a wedding that required all of the guest to bring their bikes as seating for the ceremony. I guess that saved money so I could see how it was fitting for the occasion.

There are also those who choose to go all out and have expensive weddings that I assume they imagine looking beautiful but even a Chanel dress like the hot pink ones the bridesmaids can be seen wearing below, can often be blinding to the majority of guests. The wedding was in Blanchard town, a suburb of Dublin.

I have covered the best of the horrifying and tacky. Now it’s time to share with you the weddings that are just weird. I bet it isn’t too hard to imagine people crazy enough to throw a Star Wars wedding. How about a Star Wars Wedding with life sabers? It has been done. There was a couple who wanted to mimic Superman and another who couldn’t live without Hello Kitty attending their wedding.

Newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Green decided to paint themselves green when exchanging their vowels. Christine, the bride said her husband resembled the ogre in the hit film Shrek. She and her husband loved the movie so much they figured they would dress up as the characters in Shrek for their own wedding. “It’s not necessarily how you imagine seeing your daughter getting married but it was great fun” said the bride’s mother. Christine wanted her son to dress up as Donkey, another character in the movie. However, her son just wasn’t having it. The pictures below prove the wedding to be a fairytale that won’t be forgotten including festive wedding favors wedding favors and a detailed wedding cake appropriate to the theme.

A similar situation occurred resulting in a Flintstones wedding. Andrea and Simon Bean and their friends Richard and Jill Noble had all been married and were tying the knot for the second time around. None of them wanted a traditional wedding and although they weren’t sure what they wanted at first, they began joking around and soon enough decided to go back to the Stone Age and have a joint wedding. Andrea and Simon played Fred and Wilma and Richard and Jill were Barney and Betty for the day. They had a good amount of guests and all those who attended dressed in accordance. It was nothing but a huge Flintstones party to celebrate true love. The couples went to a dinosaur park for some interesting wedding photographs.
